The 12 laws of the universe are essentially a reflection of observation on how the universe behaves. They are designed to help humans achieve love and happiness once fully grasped and implemented in our every day lives.
If you're a visual person like me, this chart above is a great guide for achieving the 12 laws of the universe and using them in your every day life. These 12 laws can transform your life into a more positive reality when used accordingly.
Here is an introduction to the laws of the universe and how they can be implemented in your own life:
Law of Divine Oneness
Everything and everyone is connected. This highlights that every thought, action, person, and outcome is connected on a higher level than we realize.
The Law of Divine Oneness is meant to show the similarities in everything and everyone around you. We all come from the same source and are stronger together than separate. There's so much more to our reality than what we see right in front of us. Our senses and internal instincts are all one in the same.
To implement the Law of Divine Oneness, ask yourself, "How can I show more compassion towards others who might seem different from me or cultures I don't fully understand?" Wake up each day with the mindset of having compassion for others, to want to understand how their mind works and why they think or act the way that they do. This will open your mind to a whole new perspective and appreciation for your reality.
Law of Vibration
Good vibes only. This law focuses on the microscopic vibrations that one puts into the world around them.
The Law of Vibration means to focus on what kind of vibes you are putting out into the world. Are they negative or positive? Much like the Law of Correspondence, depending on what vibes you let out, this is the type of energy you will feel and see around you.
There are many ways to lift your vibes, which include, yoga, meditation, reading a good book, sitting in nature, cuddling with your animal, or taking a walk.
Law of Correspondence
What you feel is what you see. The Law of Correspondence is about looking within.
When you are constantly feeling anxiety or stress, chances are that's what you are constantly experiencing. Think, "As within, is without."
To implement the Law of Correspondence in your life, remember to check in daily with yourself and how you're feeling. To re-frame your mindset from something negative, take time to name 4 things you are grateful for, 4 things you see right in front of you, 4 things you like about yourself.
Law of Attraction
You get what you focus on. This focuses on your state of mind.
Take a moment to reflect on your state of mind. Does it feel positive or negative? Are you focusing on things you want in life or things you can't control? The Law of Attraction is the most talked about law, as it is a very powerful one. If you tend to focus on doom and gloom, chances are that's what you're receiving from the universe. If you focus on happiness, peace, and love, chances are you feel this coming from the universe.
The best way to implement the Law of Attraction is waking up every day and writing in your gratitude journal. Name 3 things you're grateful for everyday and 3 things you wish to put out into the universe. Throughout the day, stop and ask yourself, "Does this thought or action align with what I want to attract?"
Law of Inspired Action
Actionable steps to invite what you want in life. This means you must take actionable steps towards your goal.
Ever heard of the phrase, "Actions speak louder than words"? Well, if you have, then you know how true that statement is. The Law of Inspired Action requires that you make the effort towards your goal if you really want to achieve it. Saying you'll exercise 3 times a week is a great start, but actually doing it is what counts. Saying you want to be happy, but focusing on negativity or drama, and depriving your well-being, is not an actionable step towards your goal.
Think about what you most want in life. Write it down and list the actionable steps you need to take in order to get there. Maybe your goal is to achieve a happier reality. This may require you to see a therapist to heal old wounds or trauma, exercising consistently, being kinder to yourself, and/or meditating every day. Read this list each morning to make sure you are on the right path towards your goal.
Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy
Your energy level can alter ones for better or worse, and vice versa. This highlights the importance of understanding how your energy level can either drain or life people up, and how someone else's can do the same to you.
If you are a highly sensitive person, you may notice your energy level drains rather quickly when you are around negative or cynical people. Or, when you're around someone who brings all the good vibes, how positive and optimistic you feel after interacting with them.
Understanding how ones energy can effect your own and vice versa will help you be more mindful. To implement this law in your own life, think about the people who lift you up and how happy you feel when being with them. Now, think about the people who tend to bring you down or drain your energy. Be mindful of this and know that it's okay to limit your interaction with people who may bring you down.
Law of Cause and Effect
The direct relation between actions and events. This law is pretty straight forward, however, one thing to note is that you won't always feel the effect of an action right away. The universe has it's way with perfect timing.
If you're putting out anger or hatred into the world, the effect will come back in the same manner. The best way to implement this law is to stop and ask yourself before reacting to a situation, "Will my actions create a positive or negative effect in the universe?"
Law of Compensation
You must contribute in some way towards your goal. It's important to understand that if you want your life to change for the better, or you want to achieve a certain goal, you must contribute your time, energy, money, or whatever resources necessary to get there.
For example, let's say your goal is to find inner peace. You need to contribute a certain amount of time every day to work on yourself. Scheduling time for meditation, working out, self-reflection, or even therapy.
Law of Relativity
Appreciating what we have without needing to compare. This law highlights the every day struggle most of us have when comparing ourselves to others.
Social media has created a space for a lot of comparison and telling us what we "need" to have in order to feel better about ourselves. This is a dangerous space for someone who struggles with this law - I've definitely struggled a majority of my life with this law. It can feel hard to not compare yourself to someone else, but the best thing to remember is that everyone has their own journey and there is no alike path.
The best way to implement this law in your everyday life is to first catch yourself when you start comparing your current situation to someone else. Once you get in the habit of catching yourself, you can control your thoughts and reframe your mindset by naming 5 things you are grateful for in your life and to also remind yourself that you are on your own journey.
Law of Polarity
There are two sides to everything. A very powerful reminder that there are more perspectives than just your own.
When we get caught up in the moment, we can forget that there may be more to the situation than we realize. For example, when there is a certain family member that is talked about negatively because someone else mentions something the person did that they didn't like. It's okay to take a step back and question, "Is this really the whole story?" Having a big family, this has been something I've learned to adopt when hearing negative drama about a certain family member and realizing there is a lot more to the situation than what's being presented from this one point of view.
When using the law of polarity in your every day life, it's best to not react to a situation, instead, take a step back to see the big picture before responding. This can help give you a clearer mind and a calmer response.
Law of Rhythm
Our inner rhythm will speed up and slow down. Stop and listen carefully within.
Just like a song where the rhythm speeds up and slows down, so does our energy. When starting a new project, job, or relationship, we tend to feel excited and energized. However, sometimes down the road, we might feel our energy slowly draining or losing speed. It's important to listen within yourself, as this may indicate you need to take a small break to re-energize and reboot in order to keep moving forward in the right direction.
Giving yourself time alone through meditation, "me time", exercise, journaling, driving, or whatever helps calm you down is really important. If you don't allow yourself time to rest, your rhythm will eventually feel depleted and unable to reboot. This can lead to a burn out feeling we sometimes experience at work, a relationship, or a new project.
Law of Gender
Masculine and Feminine energies exist in all things. Finding the right balance between these energies can help you on your own journey.
This law focuses on understanding that not everything has to feel hard core and intense, which our society has conditioned our minds to view it "in a man's world" so to speak. It's okay to have emotion, compassion, empathy, and a loving mindset when working on a project or viewing a certain matter.
The best way to implement this law in your every day life is to understand that these energies do flow through everyone and everything. There isn't a right or wrong, but having a healthy balance can help improve your productivity in whatever goal you are trying to reach.
